Introduction
TrustCheck helps businesses collect feedback, engage with customers, and build trust. These Terms of Use and Sale for Businesses explain the rules for using TrustCheck’s business services, including both free and paid plans.
Definitions
“TrustCheck”, “we”, “our”, or “us” means TrustCheck LLC, Tema Community 18, Ghana. “Platform” means TrustCheck websites, apps, and services. “Services” means the TrustCheck business account, review tools, and any paid features we offer.
Acceptance of terms
You accept these Terms when you claim a business profile, sign up for a plan, accept an order form, or use any TrustCheck business services. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
Eligibility and business profile
- You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act on behalf of the business.
- You may only manage profiles for businesses you own or are authorized to represent.
- You are responsible for keeping your business profile accurate and up to date.
Free plan and subscriptions
- The free plan provides basic access to your business profile.
- Paid services are provided under subscription terms shown at purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled in writing before renewal.
Review invitations and compliance
If you invite customers to leave reviews, you are responsible for ensuring those invitations comply with Ghanaian law, data protection requirements, and any applicable marketing rules. You must have the right to contact your customers and must not use biased, misleading, or coercive invitation practices.
Business account responsibilities
- You control access to your business account and are responsible for authorized users.
- You must keep account credentials secure and accurate.
- You are responsible for your team’s actions on the platform.
Guidelines and acceptable use
You must follow TrustCheck’s Guidelines for Businesses and all published policies. We may update these rules at any time. You must not manipulate reviews, submit fake reviews, or misuse reporting tools.
Intellectual property
TrustCheck owns the platform, brand marks, and systems. You retain ownership of your logo and brand assets, but you grant TrustCheck permission to display your business name, logo, and review content for platform purposes.
User generated content and analytics
Reviews and replies are public. TrustCheck may use review content and platform analytics to improve services and show insights. Reviews may remain visible even after your subscription ends or you close an account.
Payments, refunds, and taxes
Fees for paid services are billed as described in your order form. Unless otherwise required by Ghanaian law, fees are non‑refundable. You are responsible for applicable taxes, levies, or duties.
Privacy and data protection
We process personal data in accordance with Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) and our Privacy Policy. Where you provide customer data, you confirm you have the right to do so.
Security and confidentiality
Both parties must protect confidential information. You must safeguard access credentials and notify us of any breach.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, misuse the platform, or fail to pay. You may cancel your subscription according to your plan terms.
Disclaimers and liability
Services are provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by Ghanaian law, TrustCheck’s total liability is limited to the lesser of GHS 100 or the total fees you paid in the last 12 months (if any). We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Dispute resolution and governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ghana. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ghana.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of TrustCheck means you accept the updated Terms.
